Your Mindset
You are a peer, not a vendor. You've flown the same routes. You understand the pressures. You're offering something most operators have never seen.
The One Number
Replacing one pilot costs $300K–$700K. Your programme costs $5,000. That's the whole conversation.
01
OPEN
0–30 sec
▶ SAY
Hi [Name], my name is [Your Name] — I'm a commercial pilot with 20+ years of international flying experience. I've recently launched Air Aviation Academy, and I'm reaching out to a small number of flight operations leaders directly. Do you have 90 seconds?
✦ Pilot credibility is your door-opener. Say it in the first breath.
02
HOOK
30–60 sec
▶ SAY
Most airlines and operators spend hundreds of thousands replacing a pilot — recruitment, training, sim time, the whole process. What very few invest in is keeping the pilots they already have performing at their peak. That's the gap we close.
✦ Let the silence work. Don't fill it.
03
FRAME
60–90 sec
▶ SAY
We run a 12-week online performance programme for pilots — covering breathwork, mindset, sleep, fitness, nutrition, and daily routine. It's built around what I've learned flying internationally across 20+ years. The result: pilots who are sharper, healthier, and stay longer.
✦ Keep it to three sentences. Don't pitch all 6 pillars yet.
04
QUALIFY
90 sec – 2 min
? ASK
Can I ask — is pilot retention or performance something that's on your radar right now?
? ASK
How many pilots are you currently operating with?
? ASK
Do you have anything in place at the moment for pilot wellbeing beyond the mandatory medical?
✦ Two yeses here and you have a real conversation. One yes — keep going. Two nos — politely close and move on.
05
VALUE
2–3 min
▶ SAY
Our programme starts at $5,000 per pilot — but most operators come in on a group package. For a team of 5, that's $25K total. Compare that to the $300K–$700K it costs to replace a single experienced pilot, and the ROI is immediate.
▶ SAY
Each pilot gets 12 weeks of structured content — video modules, workbooks, checklists — plus weekly live office hours and 1:1 coaching calls depending on the package.
✦ State the price with confidence. Don't apologise for it.

CLOSE
3–4 min
? ASK
I'd love to show you the full framework on a 30-minute call — no pitch, just a walkthrough so you can see if it fits your team. What does your diary look like this week or next?
✦ One ask. Specific. Don't offer 'sometime' — offer this week or next.
Objection Handling
"We already have a wellness programme."
That's great — most of what exists is generic. This is built specifically for pilots: the physiology of flying, irregular schedules, time zones, the medical. It's not a gym membership.
"Budget is tight right now."
Understood. That's exactly why I'd rather show you the numbers first — when you see the cost of one pilot leaving versus the cost of this programme, it reframes the conversation. Worth 30 minutes?
"Send me some information."
Absolutely — I'll send you the framework overview. And so I can make it relevant, can I ask: how many pilots are in your team currently?
"I'm not the right person."
No problem at all — who would be the right person to speak with about pilot performance and retention? I want to make sure I'm talking to the right decision-maker.
If They Say Yes to a Call
"Perfect — I'll send a calendar invite now. I'll also send you a one-page overview of the framework so you can share it with anyone else who should be on the call."
If They Want to Think About It
"Of course. I'll send the overview across. When would be a good time to follow up — end of this week, or early next?"
If It's a Hard No
"No problem at all — I appreciate you taking the time. If anything changes, you'll find us at airaviationacademy.com. Safe skies."
